Meet Dr. David Ifeoluwa OLADAPO

I am a Statistician, University Lecturer, Data Scientist, Researcher and Consultant with more than a decade across statistical practice, data science, consulting and academia.
My professional journey started in industry before I moved fully into academia, and that practical background has continued to shape the way I teach, conduct research and solve problems. Today, I combine university teaching and research with consulting, statistical modelling, data science and the development of data-driven solutions for researchers and organisations across different fields.
I currently serve as a Lecturer in Statistics at Adeleke University, Nigeria, with research interests spanning statistical modelling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, forecasting and a growing focus on Biostatistics, Medical Statistics and Epidemiology.
For me, Statistics is not only about models and numbers. The important question has always been: what problem are we trying to solve, and how can the data help us solve it better?
